What you get with the Quotation Maker

Valid-until date and acceptance box

Every quotation shows how long the price stands and includes a signature area so the customer can accept in writing.

Products and services together

Quote materials and labour on one document, with units, discounts and the tax rate for each line.

From quote to invoice

Save the quotation as a draft in your browser, then reopen it in the invoice generator when the job is confirmed.

Exact totals

Discounts and tax are calculated with exact decimal maths, so the figures your customer sees are always consistent.

How to use the Quotation Maker

  1. Enter your business and customer details.
  2. Add the products or services you are quoting for, with prices and tax.
  3. Set the valid-until date, then save the quotation as a PDF.

Questions

What is the difference between a quotation and an invoice?

A quotation offers a price before work is agreed; it does not ask for payment. An invoice requests payment for work or goods already supplied.

Can I turn a quotation into an invoice?

Yes. Save the quotation as a draft, open the Invoice Generator, load the draft from the same browser and change the document type. The quotation number can be added as a reference.

Is my data stored?

Only if you click Save draft, and then only in this browser.
