Questions

What is an ATS?

An applicant tracking system is software employers use to collect and filter applications. Many rank or search resumes by keywords from the job description.

Is the score the same as the employer's?

No tool can see a specific employer's settings. The score estimates keyword match and common formatting rules so you can improve your resume before applying.

Is my resume uploaded?

No. The PDF is read and analysed in your browser; nothing is sent to DocNova.

Why does my PDF show no text?

Image-only or scanned PDFs contain no text layer. Many tracking systems cannot read them either, so rebuild your resume in a text-based format, for example with the free resume builder.
