Questions

Does cropping reduce quality?

No. Cropping keeps the original pixels inside the frame. Saving as JPG applies light compression; choose PNG for no loss.

Is the passport shape enough for an official photo?

It gives the 35×45 mm proportion. Official photos also have rules on size, background, lighting and face position. Always check the authority's requirements.

What sizes do social networks use?

Profile pictures are usually square, feed posts often 4:5 or 1:1, and stories 9:16. Choosing the right shape before posting stops the platform from cutting off parts of your picture.

Can I crop several images at once?

Not yet: crop one image at a time so you can position each one precisely.
